


Since everyone in the local social media and/or photography bubble posts gorgeous pictures of cherry trees in the area, I felt the urge, to do so as well.

January 2025, a temperature inversion led to a few foggy days in central Thuringia. Paired with freezing temperatures, the fog created a white crust around everything within its reach.

Old laurel trees, known as the “Fairy Forest” of Fanal. Perfect weather for strolling through and taking pictures.

Perfect timing for visiting egaparks “Japanese garden”. All those blooming cherry trees. Lovely to look at.

Last week spring has finally arrived! Got a hint on Twitter about a spot with medium high cherry trees in Erfurt. Needed to capture the scene and went there in the later afternoon. When we got there, it seemed we were not the only ones who had that idea. Anyway, we found a spot among the others and took a few pictures.
It looked awesome. Just like a small pink forrest. The perfect location to work with the new Pentacon 29 2.8 lens.
