Spring is approaching! At least on some days. Took this a few weeks ago while having a bike ride. Feels so relieving, every year, when the dark winter gets pushed away by the spring and days are getting longer. Day by day.

After a few years break, I went to the annual “winter lights” event at the ega-park again this winter. I mean, it was in winter time but it did not feel like winter. At least on that day.
Lovely to see how the event spreads more and more over the park with every year. Almost the whole park was being illuminated by various light installations and animations.
As it was an unusual mild day, it had been a comfortably walk through the park with enough patience to find beautiful details. And some delicious Thuringian street food of course. Haven’t eaten a Bratwurst since months at that time.
Nature spilled the paint pot and I like it.
After two years pandemic break, the annual city festival was back. And so the decoration was. On that medival merchant’s bridge, or Krämerbrücke, which gives the festival its name.
Glad all those road side flower beds throughout the city, made for last years BUGA, are still there and blooming again.
Perfect timing for visiting egaparks “Japanese garden”. All those blooming cherry trees. Lovely to look at.
Almost no need to visit Antelope Canyon. Nah, just kidding. But still well made and definitely worth a visit.
Taken in the Sanakil desert and jungle house at egapark Erfurt.
Hello spring. 🌸
Golden end of an early spring day. Sun always makes things better.
Summer, finally! Sunset Bike&Swim yesterday. These are the days I am always waiting for.
