  • Eranthis hyemalis

After more than 30 years I managed it to visit the maybe largest accumulation of eranthis hyemalis in central Europe the first time!

It is located in the Rautal, a side valley near Jena. I was there last weekend and I was to late to see all flowers full blooming. But it was still a nice coloured spot within the almost brown and grey wood. Spring is coming! :)

Photo was done with my newest lens – a lovely Pentacon 135/2.8. The newer one with only 6 blades. I would love to get the 15 blade version someday – anyhow, great piece of optics!

  • St. Patrick’s Day

Okay, it’s a latecomer. I did this photo on Thursday last week. My way to celebrate St. Paddy’s Day – Sláinte!

  • Good News!

Great thing! I was waiting quite a while for that. No need to step out of the door to get the daily newspaper in the early morning. No unhandy piece of paper to read on the sofa. Good news for me! (far more important than iOS 4.3)
