Rhodes roadside view
Roadside view. Taken on a bus ride along the coast line.

Rhodes port
After all the trips to Greece in the past years, one thing was still missing: a picture of a typical Greek style windmill. Ticked this box with this one. Not in the typical rural area where you would expect windmills. This is one of the three windmills located at the port of Rhodes town. More a mixture of Greek style and tourism style. Anyway, I like the outcome of the picture. Not bad for midday sun.
Evening at the beach
The perfectly clear and still warm Mediterranean Sea meets the isle of Rhodes in the late October sun. So quiet, so peaceful. Only a few people with me at the beach. Lovely.
End of play
The setting October sun causes a long shadow of myself. Another warm ans sunny day at the beach ends soon.
Another series continues
For me, pics like this never get boring. Summer day sunset beach pic with appropriate drink available. Mythos is aleady well known from various Acropolis Rallye trips in the past year and it always reminds me on Greek summer nights.

Faliraki
This photo was taken in downtown Faliraki.
Faliraki shares the fate of other tourist towns. Transformed from a fishing village into a conglomerate of taverns, pubs, night clubs and shops full of junk goods. Almost dead at day and shiny and funky at night times. Surrounded by hotels, full of tourists. It is pretty much the same as what I have seen in Loutraki, which hosted the Acropolis Rallye in the last years. Completely different to the small villages we found in Attika or on the Peleponnes. Anyway – still Greece, still sunny!
