Science content: A photograph of today’s penumbral lunar eclipse. Once again twitter helped me to get informed about that event. I saw a tweet about a lunar eclipse possibly visible from southern Germany, had a look up in the sky and saw an already started eclipse. I grabbed my gear, went out and took some photographs. Could be a new record for me: Taking notice till readily developed raw file in within 25 minutes.

Klasse Foto vom Mond mit tollen Details. So nah bekomme ich den mit meinem 3fach Zoom leider nicht ;-)
Nunja, streng genommen macht das genutzte Objektiv auch nur etwas mehr als 4fach Zoom ;) Allerdings geht es auch erst bei 70 mm Brennweite los. Hatte dieses vor Jahren mal mit einem geliehenen 1,5-fach Konverter auf den Mond gehalten. Mit 600 mm wird das ganze noch ein wenig eindrucksvoller (http://snoopers.bplaced.net/?p=369).
Aber mit ein wenig EBV und Erfahrung kann man das Bild ein wenig zurechtschnippeln…
Man müsste mal hinfliegen und vor Ort Bilder machen.
