The rising morning sun seen from my sleeping spot on Monte Lerno. I think this was the highest point on this stage, which, was probably the longest stage of the 2014 WRC season calendar with an total length of 59,13km. I slept directly at the pass, a few hundred meters behind famous Micky’s Jump.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The photo shows the marvelous view over the first 30 kilometers of the tage. I never had such a view before. You could see the dust rising from several cars on the stage at the same time and they still needed minutes to reach this spot. Beside having those 3 great spots for doing the photos showed earlier, I also had a view to Micky’s Jump after only a 200m walk through the fields.<\/p>\n

This view was a perfect beginning for a day full of rallye action. And imagine: while having this view, I had a breakfast like this one.<\/a><\/p>\n
